At the Library, feng shui master, Black Cedar Trio

The following free events are scheduled at the Los Altos main library, 13 S. San Antonio Road. Events are held in the Orchard Room unless otherwise noted. For more information, call 948-7683 or visit sccl.org/losaltos.

 

• 6:30-8:30 p.m. today: The adult-teen craft program will teach participants how to make their own bird feeders in recognition of National Bird Feeding Month. All supplies are provided, and no registration is necessary.

• 6:30 p.m. Feb. 26: Black Cedar Trio (flute, cello and guitar) is scheduled to perform Renaissance music as part of the library’s Family Concert Series. The performance is free and open to all.

• 7:30 p.m., Feb. 27: Feng shui master and fortuneteller Y.C. Sun will use a combination of feng shui and I Ching to make predictions for 2020. Topics will include the outlook for the stock market, the U.S. economy and global events, as well as the impact of the Year of the Rat on daily life. Sun has been featured on National Geographic TV, CBS’ “MarketWatch” and NBC 11, and in the San Francisco Chronicle and the Mercury News.

• 10:30-11:30 a.m. the first Monday of the month: Certified instructor Chris Selberg leads a Laughter Yoga class.

• Passport services, ongoing: The Los Altos main library offers U.S. passport services, available by appointment only. To select an appointment time and determine applicable fees and documents needed, visit sccl.org/passport.
