At the Library - Week of Jan. 30

The following events are scheduled at the Los Altos main library, 13 S. San Antonio Road. Events are held in the Orchard Room unless otherwise noted.

• 1-3 p.m. Mondays through April 8: The library will host Great Decisions 2019, a nationwide discussion program on world affairs. The program model involves reading the Great Decisions Briefing Book, watching a DVD and meeting to discuss the most critical global issues facing the U.S.

• 6:30 p.m. Monday: A moss terrarium craft-making event is scheduled as part of the library’s Crafts After Dark Adult/Teen Craft Program. No registration is necessary, and supplies will be provided.

• 7 p.m. Tuesday: Artist Bruce Munro and Kelly Sicat, director of the Sally and Don Lucas Artists Residency Program at Montalvo Arts Center, will discuss the inspiration behind Munro’s current exhibition at Montalvo, “Stories in Light.”
