• 7 p.m. Tuesday: A book discussion for adults will center on Francis Spufford’s “Golden Hill,” a novel based in old New York.

• 6:30 p.m. Jan. 28: A moss terrarium craft-making session is scheduled as part of the library’s Crafts After Dark Adult/Teen Craft Program. Supplies will be provided. No registration is necessary.

• 7 p.m. Jan. 29: Artist Bruce Munro and Kelly Sicat, director of the Sally and Don Lucas Artists Residency Program at Montalvo Arts Center, will discuss the inspiration behind Munro’s current exhibition at Montalvo, “Stories in Light.” Munro will share his passion for light as a medium and explain the process by which he develops immersive light-based installations as a means to create a shared human experience.
