In support of its current exhibition, “Inspired by Juana: La Doña de la Frontera,” the Los Altos History Museum has scheduled a Tamale Cooking Demo and Savory-to-Sweet Tamale Tasting 4-6 p.m. Dec. 8 at the museum, 51 S. San Antonio Road.
CasaQ Hispanic lifestyle expert Darlene Tenes will lead the event.
Founded by Tenes in 2005, CasaQ provides services and products to people who embrace the Latino culture. She has been a regular contributor on NBC Bay Area and CBS-5 as an expert discussing history, foods and traditions of Mexico, Spain and Latin-American countries.
Cost is $35 per person, which includes the demo, tamale tasting and beverages.
