The Los Altos Recreation and Community Services Department recently partnered with CivicRec to implement a new parks and recreation management software solution.
The cloud-based CivicRec system gives residents greater visibility into recreation department activities, classes, sports and youth leagues, and offers users easier online registration and payment.
It also enables users to search for and reserve community facilities online.
“Our priority is to provide the best customer service to Los Altos residents, including the online registration experience,” said Donna Legge, director of Recreation and Community Services. “We are, therefore, excited to introduce new software and a partnership with CivicPlus. The system update is long overdue and will offer a friendly, fast and convenient registration
CivicRec is part of Civic-Plus, an integrated technology platform for local governments. The system is designed to be intuitive to navigate and easy to use. It is mobile-friendly, allowing residents to search for community activities and events, register and remit payment from a computer, smartphone or tablet.
