Larry William’s “Bashful Masai Woman” is among his works on display online on the Los Altos Hills website.

Los Altos Hills resident Larry William’s documentary photography portfolio, titled “Who We Are: Digital Portraits of Humanity,” is available for viewing online through July 31 on the town’s website at losaltoshills.ca.gov/digitalgallery.

William focuses his photographs on the ideas of people’s commonalities and uniqueness, according to a press release.

His subjects come from around the world, including from Kenya, Somalia, Ecuador, Bhutan and the Congo.

“Our huge extended global human family has been a consistent interest of mine for years,” William said in a statement. “I’m fascinated with capturing the varied appearances of people around the world with digital photographs.”

The Los Altos Hills Public Art Committee features a new Los Altos Hills resident artist each month on the town’s website, spanning all media – from photography to paintings and sculp- tures.
