The Los Altos History Museum seeks local writers willing to participate in its annual Authors’ Showcase, scheduled Nov. 15 as part of the museum’s annual “Catch the Spirit” holiday event.

Authors who have published a book during the past two years may apply. Last year’s event featured local authors Skip Vaccarello, Ursula H. Meier, Gisela Zebroski, Russell Atkinson, John Ralston and Peter Lobban.

“The museum is very much looking forward to giving the community a chance to meet local writers and learn more about their books,” said Elisabeth Ward, the museum’s executive director. “The written word is a powerful medium, and we know many in this community value the skill and research needed to make a book a reality.”

Space is limited to six authors. The deadline to apply is Sept. 7.
