Patients who spend the holidays at El Camino Hospital will find holiday greetings to cheer them up when the hospital’s Auxiliary volunteers deliver cards handcrafted by local Kiwanis Club members.

Members of the Kiwanis Club of Los Altos and the Bayshore Kiwanis Club teamed up last week to create more than 80 personalized holiday cards with supplies donated by The Makery in downtown Los Altos.

In addition to fusing paper, ribbon and adhesive cutouts, members added handwritten notes inside each letter.

Los Altos Kiwanis members participated in the card-making activity in lieu of attending the organization’s regular weekly meeting.
