With its annual golf tournament fundraiser canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Los Altos Chamber of Commerce has scheduled a raffle with weekly noon Monday drawings on Facebook Live beginning Nov. 2.
The organization will raffle off several donated prizes from local restaurants, retailers and service providers, including the grand prize, a diamond necklace from Smythe & Cross Fine Jewelry; a five-day cruise to Mexico, the Bahamas or the Western Caribbean from realtor Mika Glass; a Kazak rug from Los Altos Rug Gallery; a $500 shopping spree at Draeger’s Market; a “staycation” package at Enchanté Boutique Hotel; a dinner party for four at Aldo restaurant; two nights at the Donatello Hotel in San Francisco, courtesy of the Los Altos Town Crier; and five $100 gift certificates to Chef Chu’s. Raffle proceeds will support the Chamber of Commerce’s services.
The Chamber has put great effort into supporting our small-business community throughout this challenging time,” said Kim Mosley, Chamber president. “Now, more than ever, our small businesses need the programming and services of the Los Altos Chamber of Commerce.”
Mosley said Los Altos City Councilwoman Anita Enander and Vice Mayor Neysa Fligor are among those contributing raffle prizes.
Raffle tickets are $100 each, and 1,000 tickets will be sold. The first 15 tickets will be drawn Nov. 2, with subsequent drawings held noon every Monday until all of the prizes are awarded. Participants will have the opportunity to choose their own prize from a list of those available.
To purchase tickets, call the Chamber office at 948-1455. For more information, see the insert in this week’s Town Crier or visit losaltoschamber.org.
