Los Altos Village Association sponsors egg hunt

The Los Altos Village Association has scheduled its 55th annual Downtown Los Altos Easter Egg Hunt 10 a.m. to noon March 24.

The free event welcomes children ages 1-10 to hunt for thousands of candy- and prize-filled eggs on Main and State streets.

The Easter Bunny will appear at Veterans Community Plaza and will be available for photos. The plaza also will host crafts and face painting.

Attendees must bring their own baskets – limit five eggs per child. The San Jose Spider Ultimate Team, Spartans Sports Camp and Cranberry Scoop are co-sponsors of the event.

Chamber sponsors after-hours mixer

The Los Altos Chamber of Commerce has scheduled an after-hours business mixer 5-7 p.m. March 28.

This month’s event is hosted by Thoits Law and the Heising-Simons Foundation at 400 Main St.

Attendees should bring business cards and brochures for networking.

LAVA organizes Wine Walk

The Los Altos Village Association has scheduled the inaugural Mother’s Day Wine Walk 5-8 p.m. May 11 in downtown Los Altos.

Downtown businesses will serve as tasting sites for wines from around the Bay Area.

Tickets are $35.
