Mountain View Chamber of Commerce to hold honors dinner

The Mountain View Chamber of Commerce has scheduled its 23rd annual Celebration of Leaders Awards Dinner 5:30 p.m. March 2 at the Computer History Museum.

The awards honor Mountain View businesses and leaders who have made “exceptional contributions” to the community, according to organizers.

This year’s honorees include:

• Study.com as Outstanding Large Business

• Zume Pizza as Outstanding Small Business

• Mountain View Health Center Planned Parenthood Mar Monte as Outstanding Organization

• TechCode as Outstanding New Member

• Katie Ferrick of LinkedIn Corp. as Outstanding Business Person

• Ainsley Braun of Tinfoil Security as Outstanding Young Business Person

• Mitch Harnett of Working Scholars as Ambassador of the Year

• Alex Andrade of the city of Mountain View for Special Recognition

Five local nonprofit groups are slated to recognize their volunteers of the year at the event. Honorees include:

• Community Services Agency: Michelle Rogers

• Friends of Stevens Creek Trail: Kathy Bettman and family

• KMVT Community Television: Bill Lindemann

• Leadership Mountain View: Larry Moore

• Mountain View Public Safety Foundation: Debbie Villa
