Members of the Silicon Valley Association of Realtors Los Altos-Mountain View District raised $5,000 at their seventh annual Pumpkin Auction for the Silicon Valley Realtors Charitable Foundation.
District chairman Greg Boudreau, managing broker of the Los Altos Coldwell Banker office, served as auctioneer at this year’s event, held at the Mountain View Community Center Oct. 25. Boudreau encouraged members to raise their paddles and bid generously.
Coldwell Banker, Sereno Group, Intero Real Estate Services, Sotheby’s International Realty, Wells Fargo Home Mortgage, Old Republic Title and Old Republic Home Warranty donated baskets with prizes that included gift certificates to Los Altos Grill, Gourmet Works, Scott’s Seafood, Rustic House Oyster Bar & Grill and Ciao Bella, as well as bottles of wine, homemade bread and cakes, car washes from Lozano Brushless Car Wash and more.
The Sotheby’s “Day at the Game” basket – a $900 value that included two Club-level tickets to the San Francisco 49ers versus Arizona Cardinals game last weekend, a Yeti cooler, stainless-steel travel cups, a micro-tech blanket, ales and cider, team globes, beanies and football socks – went to Barbara Telesco Curley for $800.
At the end of the auction, SILVAR members participated in a paddle race and sought donations at various price levels.
