The Los Altos Town Crier

Schola's Summer Sings ends run Monday night at Los Altos church

The Mountain View-based Schola Cantorum is scheduled to conclude its 2014 Summer Sings series 7:30 p.m. Monday at Los Altos United Methodist Church, 655 Magdalena Ave., at the corner of Foothill Expressway.

The series provides audience members the opportunity to sing masterpieces of the choral repertoire – choruses and solos – with the help of conductors from throughout the Bay Area.

Louis Magor, music director at Wallingford United Methodist Church, is slated to lead the audience Monday in Stravinsky’s Symphony of Psalms and Mozart’s Requiem.

Audience members may bring their own scores to Summer Sings or they can borrow one.

Tickets are $15 in advance, $20 at the door. Students under age 25 with ID are free.

For tickets and more information, call 254-1700 or visit scholacantorum.org.
