The Los Altos Stage Company’s production of “Harold and Maude” is set to run through May 4 at Bus Barn Theater, 97 Hillview Ave.
The play is based on the 1971 film. Written by Colin Higgins, the dark romantic comedy is about a budding but unusual friendship. Wilson directs a cast featuring Warren Wernick (as Harold), Lillian Bogovich (Maude), Kristin Brownstone (Mrs. Helen Chasen), Gary Landis (Dr. Matthews), Ray D’Ambrosio (Father Finnegan), Clint Williams (Inspector Doppel/Gardener), Ken Leeds (Sgt. Doppel/Boss), Hannah Larson (Sylvie Gazel/Nancy Mersch/Sunshine Dore) and Jennifer Gregoire (Maid Marie).
