Museum of American Heritage's "History of Television" exhibition continues

The Museum of American Heritage’s latest exhibition, “Tune In: A History of Television,” highlights TV’s early years, when it became a major source of entertainment and had a vast cultural impact.

The exhibition is scheduled to run through March 23 in Palo Alto.

“Tune In” displays a variety of 1940s- and 1950s-era TV sets from the museum’s collection. The display explores everything from how a TV works to its social impacts. Attendees may view TV programs and commercials from the 1950s and ’60s. In addition, the exhibition includes a collection of TV-inspired lunch boxes and hands-on activities for children.

The museum, located at at 351 Homer Ave., is open 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Fridays through Sundays.
