Chamber of Commerce Mountain View has scheduled its 19th annual Celebration of Leaders Awards 6-9 p.m. Jan. 24 at the Oshman Family Jewish Community Center, 3921 Fabian Way, Palo Alto.

The event recognizes exceptional contributions and service to the Mountain View community. Chamber leaders will honor their choices for outstanding businesses and individuals, and participating nonprofit organizations will pay tribute to their volunteers of the year.

Chamber honorees include: Tied House Brewery & Cafe, Outstanding Large Business; Steins Beer Garden and Restaurant, Outstanding New Member; Barry Groves, superintendent of the Mountain View Los Altos Union High School District, Outstanding Business Person; Mei Yu of Time Savings Travel, Ambassador of the Year; Morocco’s Restaurant, Outstanding Small Business, RotaCare Mountain View, Outstanding Organization; and Alison Hopkins, director of volunteers at the Community Services Agency, Outstanding Young Professional.

Nonprofits and their volunteers include: Community Health Awareness Council, Carol Fisher; Community Services Agency, Alpha Omega Taskforce; El Camino YMCA, Gunilla Follett; Friends of Stevens Creek Trail, Art Takahara; KMVT Community Television, Alex Lo; and Leadership Mountain View, Leane Reelfs.
