The Rotary Club of Mountain View and the Rotary Club of Los Altos Sunset recently joined forces to collect and deliver undergarments for clients served by the Community Services Agency. Members of the Rotary Club of Mountain View and the Rotary Club of Los Altos Sunset partnered to collect and deliver several boxes of new undergarments to the Community Services Agency (CSA) in Mountain View last week.

The clubs donated more than 350 undergarments in all sizes for men and women to help those in need.

“We are grateful to receive this donation,” said Tom Myers, CSA executive director and member of the Rotary Club of Mountain View. “These garments will help keep our clients warm in cold weather and, frankly, are a huge boost to their self-esteem.”

Bruce Barsi, president of the Rotary Club of Mountain View, said the club is always on the lookout for ways to benefit the community, both locally and beyond.

“This particular project was both meaningful and fun for our membership, and we were thrilled with the participation,” he said.

The mission of Rotary International, a humanitarian service organization with more than 1.2 million members worldwide, is to create positive, lasting change in local and global communities.
