CSMA schedules open house

The 200-seat Tateuchi Hall will feature instrument demonstrations, an instant chorus and music scholar performances. Attendees are invited to attend two free art workshops: “Fashion Design” and “Manga Mania.”

Hobee’s California Restaurants will provide refreshments.

Founded in 1968, Community School of Music and Arts is Northern California’s largest nonprofit provider of arts education programs and, with a $4.7 million budget and 160-member staff and faculty, one of the 10 largest community schools of its kind in the U.S. CSMA serves more than 42,000 people annually, including 10,660 students in more than 600 classrooms at 35 schools from Santa Clara and San Mateo counties. CSMA also presents dozens of concerts, lectures and exhibitions that are free of charge to the community.
