FLORA WALLACE

Flora Wallace, beloved wife of Seymour and cherished mother of Linda, passed away on September 7, 2016. She succumbed to complications of cancer. Flora was born in Argentina on March 17, 1927. She lived in Los Altos for approximately 55 years. She was an avid gardener, stunt kite flier, and supporter of the arts. She read extensively, loved animals and tai chi, and had a keen sense of humor. The world is a bit emptier without Flora’s sparkling, vibrant, generous & loving persona. “The song has ended (but the melody lingers on).

DORTHY RUTH HAWKINS TOBIE

On July 22, 2016 in Rocklin, CA, Dorthy Ruth Hawkins Tobie passed away with her family by her side–nearly 98 years old, or as some of us say, she lived to be almost 100. “Dottie” was a gracious person, devoted mother, wife, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend to all that knew her lovely smile and ever-present wit. She resided in Los Altos from 1950 until 2006.

Mary passed away peacefully at El Camino Hospital one day after having a stroke. She was surrounded by her loving family.

Mr. Delbert Edward Dequine (Del) was born in San Francisco, CA. From there his family moved to Marysville, CA where he lived until the age of six. His family relocated once again and finally settled in Concord, CA where he grew up through the challenging times of the great depression, graduating from Concord High School, and excelling in variety of sports including track and field, swimming and diving, and football.
