OBIT DanRasdal

Obituaries are difficult to write as they force you to summarize and assess a person’s life in the form of a few paragraphs. The life of William Daniel Rasdal cannot be told in a mere couple of paragraphs, for it would span a series of novels, each a series unto themselves. But I can tell you a little bit about Dan, and maybe that will suffice.

Dan Rasdal was like Gandalf. He was the old, robust wise man who kept the fellowship together. For Dan, that fellowship was his family.
