Dale Bowersock died May 13, 2014, at 76 years of age.

He was a native of Kansas, a graduate of Kansas State University and a long-time CPA in the San Francisco Bay Area.

He is survived by his wife, Joan, and daughters, Kim (Samuel), Liz (Steve) and grandchildren, Elodie, Aurora, Cedric and Malcolm.

He was a golfer, a reader of westerns, a jazz buff, a lover of sunsets and thunderstorms.

In the years before Dale needed care, the Los Altos Senior Center provided him and Joan a respite and outlet.  The Monday-Wednesday Bocce group gave friendly companionship and the gift of laughter.

The family is grateful to all the wonderful caretakers at Cedar Creek, Silverado and Nazareth Classic Care in Menlo Park.

A private family service was held and Dale’s ashes were buried next to his mother in Kansas.
