TERILYN MARIE KOZY

OBIT TerilynKozy

December 22, 1956 – June 23, 2014

Resident of Sunnyvale

Terilyn "Teri" Marie Kozy, 57, passed away on Monday, June 23, 2014 at her home in Sunnyvale, CA after a hard-fought battle with leukemia.

Teri was born on December 22, 1956, in Milwaukee, WI, to Robert and Madonna (Berube) Boncher. She grew up in Wisconsin, Minnesota, Illinois and California.

Teri worked hard helping to manage the family business (DeMartini Orchard) alongside her loving husband of 27 years, Craig. She was a caring, energetic mother of two devoted sons.  She loved hosting parties, and get-togethers for family and friends and traveling around the world. Her giving nature kept her volunteering at her children's schools for over 16 years. Teri will be remembered as someone who lived life to the fullest, and her infectious smile and laugh could brighten up a room. She had a caring heart, was never judgmental, and gave selflessly to those around her.

Teri was preceded in death by her brothers, Richard, Robert John and Michael Boncher.

Teri is survived by her loving husband, Craig Kozy; her sons, James and Jason; her parents, Robert and Donna Boncher of Crossville, TN; sisters, Sharon Boncher and Nanette (Darrin) Lester of Colorado; brother, Daniel (Cheryl) Boncher of IL, and many cherished aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service of Remembrance to celebrate her life on Friday, July 11, 2014 at 12:00P.M at LIMA & CAMPAGNA SUNNYVALE MORTUARY, 1315 Hollenbeck Ave., Sunnyvale. A reception to follow at Palo Alto Hills Country Club.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Leukemia Society.
