OSAMU “SAM” KANO

Osamu “Sam” Kano, 76, passed away peacefully on March 13, 2013 at home in his sleep, after a long, courageous battle with prostate cancer. Born in Japan, and a 36 year resident of Los Altos, he is survived by his wife Yumiko, children, Jim and Akiko and grandchildren, Schuyler and Sean. He was a devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather who loved to play golf and go to Hawaii in his retirement, after a very successful career in the semiconductor industry. He traveled the world and lived a full and rewarding life and touched many lives.

A memorial service/celebration of his life, will be held next month and Memorial donations may be made to the Prostate Cancer Foundation or The American Cancer Society in his name.

Obituary Policy

The Town Crier's obituary publishing rates are $3 a line and $40 extra with a photo. Minimum charge is $50 (without a photo).
