Fall sports info night set for Aug. 12 at MV

Mountain View High’s Fall Sports Parent Information Night, led by athletic director Shelley Smith, is scheduled 6 p.m. Aug. 12 at the school’s Spartan Theater. Local softball league holds fall ball tryouts

Soccer kicks into gear

Registration is open for AYSO Region 43’s fall soccer season. The region serves boys and girls in grades K-12 who live in northern Los Altos and Los Altos Hills. AYSO follows six philosophies: everyone plays, player development, positive coaching, good sportsmanship, balanced teams and open registration. The registration fee is $195.
