Polo for a cause
The Bay Area Lyme Foundation has scheduled its second Polo for Lyme Benefit noon to 5 p.m. Oct. 13 at the Menlo Circus Club in Atherton. The event will feature polo, champagne, a gourmet luncheon, auctions, fine wines and live music. Participating polo players include Peter Milner of Los Altos and Jeff Graham of Los Altos Hills. Tickets start at $75; all proceeds support the foundation’s research and educational programs, according to organizers. The foundation was launched last year by a group of Portola Valley friends who noticed that Lyme disease had affected an alarming number of their community.
