LAUMC sponsors Harvest Craft Faire
Los Altos United Methodist Church has scheduled its annual Harvest Craft Faire 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
The faire will offer a large selection of handcrafted items made by more than 70 artisans and women from the church.
Garden and gourmet shops will showcase specialty items. Vintage collectibles and small antiques will be featured as well.
A variety of sandwiches, snacks, desserts and beverages will be available for purchase in the Harvest Cafe.
Child care will be available 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday.
The United Methodist Women sponsor the event. Proceeds support charities and missions, including the Community Services Agency, the Community Breast Health Project, Pathways Home Help & Hospice, Friends Outside and the Support Network for Battered Women.
The church is located at 655 Magdalena Ave. at Foothill Expressway.

AWANA clubs open for registration
Registration is under way for Bridges Community Church’s AWANA clubs for preschoolers through high school students, scheduled Wednesday evenings through May.
AWANA is an international Christian youth organization whose mission is “to reach boys and girls with the gospel of Christ and train them to serve Him.”
Bridges Community Church is located at 625 Magdalena Ave., Los Altos.
