MVLA seeks input on principal selection

Mountain View Los Altos Union High School District officials are seeking a new principal for Mountain View High School. The district recently appointed current Principal Keith Moody director of Adult Education, effective at the start of the next school year.

District officials are soliciting input to ensure that the candidate selected for the position brings experiences, training and personal and professional characteristics consistent with the community’s expectations.

Local residents are encouraged to share their ideas and suggestions during the first 45 minutes of the Mountain View High School PTSA meeting, scheduled 7 p.m. Monday in the school library, 3535 Truman Ave.

Foothill Middle College celebrates 20 years

Foothill Middle College, which serves local high school students, has scheduled its 20th anniversary celebration June 29 and 30.

The event will feature an “Open Mic” benefit for the Middle College Scholarship program June 29 and a reunion picnic and celebration on the Foothill campus June 30.

Organizers are searching for graduates of the Foothill Middle College program to participate in the anniversary activities.
