St. Francis High School and the Mountain View-Los Altos Union High School District have scheduled an evening of art, film and discussion on diversity, tolerance and confronting bias 6 p.m. Nov. 15 in the Los Altos High School cafeteria and Eagle Theater, 201 Almond Ave.
Refreshments will be served in the cafeteria at 6 p.m. Student art reflecting the evening's themes will be on display.
A screening of the KQED documentary "Not in Our Town: Northern California" will be shown in the theater at 7 p.m. The documentary recounts stories of communities that suffered a hate crime, then ultimately found creative, unifying ways to respond. The producer, Patrice O'Neill, will attend.
The free event is open to the public.
