There's nothing wrong with splitting Bullis Charter School among two campuses. That was essentially the ruling from Superior Court Judge Mark H. Pierce, announced June 26, which rejected the latest BCS legal challenge over Los Altos School District allocation of facilities to the charter school. The LASD Final Facilities Offer for 2013-14 places the charter school at both Egan Junior High School and Blach Intermediate School.
Judge Pierce’s written order of June 24 stated that “[t]he Court finds that there is no requirement that a school district provide an offer of facilities to a charter school only at contiguous sites. Rather, a school district may determine that more than one facility may be included in the offer as long as there are no other facilities available within the district.”
