Incumbent Steve Taglio and candidate Pablo Luther have won the two open seats on the Los Altos School District Board of Trustees. Taglio received 7,601 votes, 37.35 percent of the vote, in Tuesday's election. Luther earned 6,771 votes (33.27 percent), followed by candidate Amanda Burke-Aaronson with 4,692 votes, 23.05 percent.
Luther was grateful and relieved by the election results.
"The words that come to me are humbling, a feeling of gratitude and just the passionate involvement of the people," he said.
