May 18, 11:45 a.m., 1100 block of Eureka Avenue: A suspect obtained personal information from a victim by posing as a notary for a title company. The victim became suspicious soon after, when she didn’t receive copies of documents the suspect asked her to sign. The victim contacted police after she discovered that credit card accounts were opened using her personal information.
May 20, 1:53 p.m. Fremont Avenue and Manor Way: Police responded to a report of a male bicyclist down on the side of the road with a head injury. Officers at the scene could not determine whether the victim was struck by a passing vehicle or crashed on his own. Medical responders transported the injured cyclist to Stanford Hospital for treatment.
