Drug possession arrest
May 1, 7:25 a.m., El Camino Real and Jordan Avenue: A female motorist was arrested for possession of methamphetamine, found after police searched her vehicle during a traffic stop. The suspect was booked into Santa Clara County's Main Jail.

Missing elderly person found by neighbors
May 2, 7:29 a.m., 1200 block of Windimer Drive: Police received a report that an elderly resident with Alzheimer's disease left her residence and had not been seen since. Neighbors found the elderly person before police arrived.

Bicycle thefts at Los Altos High School

May 2, 12:46 p.m., 200 block of Almond Avenue: Police responded to a report of three bicycles stolen during the day from the Los Altos High School bicycle cage.


May 3, 10:35 a.m., 4300 block of El Camino Real: According to police, the husband of an employee at the Courtyard by Marriott Palo Altos-Los Altos caused a disturbance when he requested the keys to his wife's vehicle. The wife refused and the husband left the scene before police arrived.

Santa Cruz man cited for misdemeanor warrants

May 4, 12:31 a.m., Foothill Expressway and Edith Avenue: Police cited and released an 18-year-old male walking along Foothill Expressway for two outstanding warrants out of Santa Cruz County. The male subject had a total of $5,000 in outstanding warrants - one each for obstruction of a police officer and vandalism.
