As autumn transforms Los Altos’ signature Chinese Pistache trees, the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art’s Project Los Altos colors downtown streets. As part of the museum’s temporary art installation, scheduled November through March, a crew painted the intersection at State and Fourth streets with swaths of geometric shapes last weekend in the vision of artist Jessica Stockholder.
