One lane of San Antonio Road in Los Altos will be closed in both directions Saturday and Sunday for road work, according to Adam Porter, Los Altos associate civil engineer.
On Saturday, the inside lanes (closest to the median) of San Antonio from Pine Lane to Foothill Expressway will be closed 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. in both directions for a road micro-seal project, Porter said.
On Sunday, the outside lanes of San Antonio from Pine to Foothill will be closed in both directions 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. to complete the micro-sealing, Porter added.
San Antonio intersections at Cuesta Drive and Parking Plaza North will remain open on Saturday to accommodate visitors to the Kiwanis Pet Parade on Saturday, Porter said.
Crews will evaluate and work on the intersection at San Antonio and Almond Avenue and reopen it as quickly as possible on Saturday, he said.
Edith Avenue at San Antonio and Foothill are alternate entry points to the downtown area.
