Grand theft

March 15, 3:25 p.m., 100 block of Main Street: Los Altos Police Officer Scott McCrossin took a report of $1,300 in cash missing from the office area in Adventure Toys & Teachers’ Supplies sometime during the weekend. There were no signs of forced entry.

Attempted burglary

March 20, 9:25 a.m., 2200 block of Grant Road: Los Altos Police Officer Abe Velasco took a report of a broken window in the front area of the business and two side doors forced open between 7 p.m. March 19 and 8 a.m. March 20. Nothing was stolen from the business.

Commercial burglary

March 20, 9:37 a.m., 2200 block of Grant Road: Los Altos Police Officer Brent Butler took a report of the rear door at a business pried open and a checkbook missing.

Identity theft

March 21, 8:33 p.m., 100 block of State Street: Los Altos Police Officer Chris Tucker took a report of the victim’s credit card used for an unauthorized transaction of $97.

Driving under the influence

March 15-21: Los Altos police officers cited four drivers for driving under the influence.

Driving without a license

March 15-21: Los Altos police officers cited three drivers for driving without licenses.
