Los Altos’ downtown Safeway, slated for renovation, may nearly double in size, so city officials are reviewing the project’s environmental impact. Residents can read the initial findings and weigh in – will the new project impact local drivers, pedestrians and cyclists?
Safeway’s Transportation Impact Analysis finds that the proposed First Street project “will not significantly impact the roadway, pedestrian, bicycle, or transit network near the project site.”
