Taking care of business The changing face of downtown Los Altos


L ongtime Los Altos residents have seen downtown businesses come and go over the years, but 2013 is particularly bustling with activity.

From January through July, 11 new businesses opened downtown, while 10, including three pop-up shops, closed, according to city of Los Altos records. At least nine permanent shops and pop-up businesses are scheduled to open in coming months.
