March 4, 1:55 p.m., 200 block of San Luis Avenue: Police arrested a 29-year-old man at his home on an outstanding $7,500 warrant related to a hit-and-run accident. He was booked into the Santa Clara County Main Jail.
March 5, 5:57 p.m., 100 block of North San Antonio Road: Police arrested a 51-year-old male San Jose resident for being under the influence of a controlled substance after receiving multiple calls that he was behaving erratically in public.
Police initially received a report that the man was seen dancing and running up to cars on San Antonio Road. While en route to the scene, police received a second report that the man ran into nearby Armadillo Willy’s moments earlier, grabbed a knife and waved it around inside the business.
Upon arrival at the scene, police received a third call, directing them across the street to the Arco gas station, where they found the suspect once again exhibiting strange behavior. Police determined that the man was under the influence of a controlled substance. He later admitted that he had smoked crack cocaine earlier in the day. The suspect was booked into the Santa Clara County Main Jail.
March 8, 2:40 p.m., 600 block of Hollingsworth Drive: Police arrested a 55-year-old male during a probation search for possession of methamphetamines and drug pipes. He was booked into the Santa Clara County Main Jail.
March 9, 8:58 a.m., 1000 block of North San Antonio Road: Police arrested a 26-year-old male Sunnyvale resident after they found him under the influence of heroin and in possession of used needles. He was later released on citation from the police station.
