Skate Works, 379 State St., and Helix, 316 State St., will co-host the Los Altos Summer Spin, a two-day summer festival on State Street in downtown Los Altos, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
The event launches summer fun with skateboarding demos and clinics, art exhibits and workshops, spinning toys, and music and dancing in the street. From spinning bicycle wheels to skateboarding contests to yarn spinning and breakdancing, participants can experience the kinetic energy that moves favorite activities and start the season with some serious momentum.
