The Community School of Music and Arts in Mountain View has scheduled its annual gala, “CSMA’s Got Talent,” 5:30 p.m. Saturday at the Oshman Family Jewish Community Center, 3921 Fabian Way, Palo Alto.
Student and faculty performers will showcase their musical and visual-arts talents throughout the evening. The event includes food, wine and live and silent auctions featuring vacations, wine and dining experiences with noted Bay Area chefs.
CSMA’s 2014 gala marks the 10th anniversary of Finn Center and 46 years serving students of all ages and abilities via art and music education. This year, CSMA honors longtime supporters Bob and Jan Fenwick for their nearly 30 years of support and leadership for CSMA and the field of arts education.
The event offers an opportunity to support CSMA’s school and Finn Center programs in addition to its commitment to “Arts for All.” Proceeds from the gala support arts education for people of all ages, backgrounds and economic means at CSMA’s Finn Center campus, partner schools and school districts.
Sponsors of the gala include Google Inc.; Franklin and Catherine Johnson; the Morgan Family Foundation; Bob and Jan Fenwick; Sue and Bob Larson; Bob Reay and Judi Fan; Debra Summers and John Baker; Kathy and Page Thibodeaux; the Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati Foundation; Mike and Jean Couch; Vivi Chan and Lou Naumovski; Yvonne and Mike Nevens; and Sares Regis Group of Northern California.
Additional event sponsorships remain open. Individual tickets are $250 each.
