A.W.A.K.E. is a support group for people with sleep-disordered breathing and their families. The group functions as a forum for exchanging information and increasing awareness of sleep disorders and related health concerns. The monthly meetings, led by group moderator and Los Altos resident Les Besser and attended by at least one staff member from PAMF’s Sleep Center, provide education, social interaction and opportunities to share and learn about current research and developments in sleep disorders, treatment and equipment.
Before and after the meeting, representatives of Philips/Respironics, a CPAP (Continuous Positive Airway Pressure)equipment manufacturer, will display their latest products and answer questions about CPAP machines and masks.
Admission is free and open to the public.
