The Palo Alto Camera Club’s photos of Cuba, including the shot above, are scheduled for display at Los Altos Hills Town Hall from March 10 through Aug. 28.

Los Altos Hills has scheduled a free public reception for “Capturing Light: The World as We See It,” the Palo Alto Camera Club’s judged photography exhibition and sale, 2-5 p.m. March 30 at town hall, 26379 W. Fremont Road.

“Capturing Light” is slated for display at town hall March 10 through Aug. 28. The exhibition is divided into two categories: General and Cuba. The Cuba photographs are the product of field workshops held in Havana.

The family-friendly reception will feature live music. Cultural Kaleidoscope, an arts in the schools program, will receive a portion of the proceeds from sales.

Founded in 1935, the Palo Alto Camera Club comprises more than 100 amateur and professional photographers.

Members’ work has been recognized in competitions and exhibitions both locally and nationally, including at showings at the Pacific Art League, Stanford University, Filoli and Palo Alto City Hall.

Town hall is open 8 a.m. to noon and 1-5 p.m. weekdays.

For more information, call town hall at 941-7222 or visit pacamera.com.
