LAH horse show scheduled Sunday

The Los Altos Hills Horsemen’s Association has scheduled the English and Western Summer Schooling Show 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Sunday at the Los Altos Hills Riding Ring, 27500 Purissima Road.

Registration is slated to open at 8 a.m. Sunday. Registration for the morning jumping classes ends at 11 a.m., 2 p.m. for the afternoon flat classes.

The show will feature five divisions (Maiden, Novice, 13 and under, Jack Benny and Open) and five class types (Hunter, Jumper, Equitation, Pleasure and Horse in Hand). Ribbons will be awarded to first- through sixth-place finishers in all 22 classes.

Classes cost $10-$15, plus a $5 California drug fee per horse. Pre-registration is not required; participants may sign up at the show.

Food and drinks will be available for purchase on the show grounds.
