Developer Abigail Ahrens’ downtown Los Altos hotel, Enchanté, reached a new phase of construction recently when crews began framing work on the 12,000-square-foot project at 1 Main St. Construction on the boutique hotel – which features 18 guest rooms, a bistro bar and a public gathering space – began last November. In her bid to use local merchants, Ahrens reported that Vintage Bath at 351 Main St. would supply the hotel’s plumbing fixtures. The $8 million hotel project is expected to take 15 months to complete.
