Project Los Altos: SFMOMA in the Silicon Valley 

From Nov. 2013 through March 2014 the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art (SFMOMA) is bringing modern art to Los Altos through SFMOMA on the Go. "Project Los Altos: SFMOMA in Silicon Valley" is a temporary multisite art exhibition created in collaboration with the City of Los Altos and Passerelle, that includes the work of nine national and international artists. Helix opens in Los Altos

Supported by a one-year grant from Passerelle, a Los Altos-based community investment group, The Exploratorium has opened its first satellite location in Los Altos. The 5,000-square-feet exhibit, retail and classroom space at 352 State Street is scheduled to be open through at least Nov. 2014. Scheduled hours are 9am-4pm Mon. through Wed., 1-8pm Thurs. and Friday, and 10am-8pm Saturday and Sunday. Admissions is pay what you wish.
