LA Stage Co.'s 'Transformation' continues at Bus Barn Theater

Los Altos Stage Company continues its 2016-2017 season with Annie Baker’s “Circle Mirror Transformation,” slated to run through Dec. 11 at Bus Barn Theater, 97 Hillview Ave.

Winner of the 2010 Obie Award for Best New American Play, “Transformation” traces the journey of five New Englanders as they make their way through a six-week-long acting class in a small Vermont town. Couched in the language of harmless theater games, hearts are quietly torn apart, and tiny wars of epic proportions are waged and won. The audience is invited to observe a microcosm where the antic sadness of a motley quintet is revealed.
