Palo Alto Players is set to present ”The Farnsworth Invention” through June 29 at the Lucie Stern Theatre, 1305 Middlefield Road, Palo Alto.
Written by Aaron Sorkin (“The West Wing”) and directed by Dave Sikula, the fast-talking, witty drama tells the story of two men locked in an epic competition to lay claim to the most influential invention of the last century: television. “Invention” is a tale of scientific discovery, double-dealings and corporate espionage.
The cast includes Michael Sally (as David Sarnoff) and Dominic Falletti (Philo Farnsworth).
Performances are scheduled 8 p.m. Thursdays through Saturdays and 2:30 p.m. Sundays.
