Singer/songwriter Chapin performs green concerts for kids Sunday in Palo Alto

Tom Chapin’s “This Pretty Planet” – his green-themed concert for kids – is scheduled for two performances 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. Sunday at the Oshman Family Jewish Community Center, 3921 Fabian Way, Palo Alto.

Chapin will perform with fellow musician Michael Mark in the Schultz Cultural Arts Hall at the center.

The playlist for the family-friendly concert includes “Good Garbage,” “Happy Earth Day” and “R-E-C-Y-C-L-E.”

Singer/songwriter/guitarist Chapin has released 23 albums and won three Grammy awards. His latest offering, “Give PEAS A Chance,” features 14 songs. Mark contributed to the album.

Advance tickets are $20 adults, $15 for children; at-the-door tickets cost $2 more.

The concert is recommended for children ages 4 and up.
