The Community School of Music and Arts in Mountain View will showcase the World Harmony Chorus at a free concert slated 7:30 p.m. Monday at CSMA’s Tateuchi Hall, 230 San Antonio Circle.
The World Harmony Chorus will share a diverse group of love songs from Kenya, Finland, Georgia, Puerto Rico and the Basque country in its upbeat performance.
The chorus comprises singers of all ages and experience levels – from beginners to seasoned choral singers. The World Harmony Chorus performs music from a variety of ethnicities, nationalities and folk traditions from around the globe.
Daniel Steinberg, founder and director of the World Harmony Chorus, has been a member of the CSMA faculty since 1999. Making music accessible to everyone is Steinberg’s personal commitment.
The World Harmony Chorus will accept new members for CSMA’s Spring Semester Feb. 10. Singers interested in joining the chorus can learn more and register online at arts4all.org. The chorus is open to singers of all backgrounds, levels and abilities.
The performance is part of CSMA’s 2013-2014 Community Concert Series.
