Ragazzi Continuo performs Saturday at Palo Alto church

Ragazzi Continuo’s holiday concert is scheduled 7:30 p.m. Saturday in Palo Alto.

Ragazzi Continuo – the a cappella men’s choir composed of alumni of the Ragazzi Boys Chorus – is scheduled to perform a holiday concert 7:30 p.m. Saturday at All Saints Episcopal Church, 555 Waverly St., Palo Alto.

The concert, “Mary Had a Baby: A Christmas Celebration,” features music dedicated to Mary. The program includes the classic spiritual “Mary Had a Baby,” arranged by Robert Shaw; a modern setting of the Gregorian chant “Salve Regina” by Kaj-Erik Gustafsson; and Morten Lauridsen’s “O Magnum Mysterium,” considered among the most popular works of modern American classical music.

Tickets are $15-$20.
