PYT puts away "Pan" Sunday

Peninsula Youth Theatre’s production of the family musical “Peter Pan” is scheduled to close Sunday at the Mountain View Center for the Performing Arts, 500 Castro St.

Peter, Wendy, Michael, John and Tinker Bell soar to Neverland to battle the dastardly Captain Hook. Based on the play by James M. Barrie, “Peter Pan” features lyrics by Carolyn Leigh and music by Mark Charlap.

Michael Champlin directs the PYT production.

Performances are scheduled 9:30 a.m. Thursday, 9:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. Friday, 2 and 7:30 p.m. Saturday and 1 p.m. Sunday.

Tickets are $20 for adults and $16 for seniors and children, with additional discounts for school-day performances. Children who dress as pirates will receive a piece of pirate’s treasure.
